A Note on Scientific Research, Analysis and Opinion

We focus on peer-reviewed scientific studies and "studies of studies" for our information on the benefits and harms of controlled substances.  However, we also believe it is important to not focus on any one study, and instead try to undertand scientific consensus as it build.  We also try to understand and account for confirmation bias...the tendancy we all have to give more weight to information that supports our pre-existing beliefs.  We also review critical analysis of controlled substances and opinion pieces, and weigh them accordinly.
