1P-LSD first appeared as a research chemical sold in January 2015.  It has questionable legal status in the United States, as it is not directly regulated but because 1P-LSD would likely be considered an analogue for LSD, its possession and sale may be prosecutable in the United States under the Federal Analogue Act.
