David T. Warren was a founding member of the Suicide Club, and the Cacophony Society. He was active in preserving Ocean Beach in San Francisco, and a collector of all things related to Playland at the Sea. He restored and operated the Giant Camera at the Cliff House. He ignited the Man at burning man by spitting fire in 1989 and 1990. David died in 2009.
